Scope overview
- Applicant is requesting bids and proposals for internet access at the Middle School site, 770 Kenyon Street NW, Washington, DC 20009, via fiber or otherwise, for a baseline speed of 500 megabits, up to 2 gigabits symmetrical, in 100 megabit increments, over a multi-year period (3,5 years) within a contract that allows for upgrades in-place via a service substitution. - All solutions should include installation and all configuration costs (if needed), a method to report outages, and receive basic technical support without additional service fees, and a service level agreement. - Please note that although fiber is the preferred solution, we are willing to consider solutions based on alternative technologies, as long as the solution allows for scalability and reliability equivalent to the preferred solution. - Bids must include all eligible and any ineligible NRC (Non Recurring Costs) and MRC (Monthly Recurring Costs) costs separately, so applicant can evaluate all bids properly and fairly. Do not forget to include any applicable taxes and fees. - Bidder must identify all special or construction costs. - All submitted bids for network services will be assumed to be available as of July 1st of the funding year requested. - All bids must include contract documentation for acceptance, and the contract must include a speed/bandwidth range in accordance with a baseline and a maximum being requested, in whatever increments are available from the bidder, up to the maximum requested, and upgradeable in-place within the term of the agreement. - The Applicant prefers Service Provider Invoicing and will score bids in accordance with the bidders agreement to abide by this preference. - Email all bids to the attention of Michael Russell mrussell@meridian-dc.org Agency: Meridian Public Charter School District Status: Certified
