Αντικείμενο της σύμβασης είναι η παροχή συμπληρωματικών υπηρεσιών αποκομιδής αστικού τύπου απορριμμάτων (Α.Σ.Α.) του Δήμου Σκιάθου και η παροχή των βασικών υπηρεσιών καθαριότητας.
Συγχρόνως, αφορά εργασίες πλύσης των Μέσων Προσωρινής Αποθήκευσης (ΜΠΑ) των σύμμεικτων ή/και ανακυκλώσιμων ΑΣΑ καθώς και υπηρεσίες οδοκαθαρισμού και σάρωσης κυρίως των πολυσύχναστων τουριστικών σημείων αλλά και υπηρεσίες του γενικότερου καλλωπισμού και καθαριότητας περιοχών με πλατείες, σημεία συνάθροισης κ.τ.λ του συνόλου των περιοχών του δήμου. (Παράρτημα Ι) Πιο συγκεκριμένα οι υπηρεσίες περιλαμβάνουν : 1.
Αποκομιδή σύμμεικτων ΑΣΑ από κάδους και λοιπά μέσα συλλογής εντός όλης της επικράτειας του Δήμου. 2. Αποκομιδή ανακυκλώσιμων υλικών (χαρτί, πλαστικό, μέταλλο, γυαλί). 3. Μεταφορά των συλλεχθέντων αποβλήτων σε νόμιμο αδειοδοτημένο σημείο/σταθμό μεταφόρτωσης/ΧΥΤΑ. 4. Εξυπηρέτηση ειδικών περιοχών (λιμάνι, παραλιακή ζώνη, πεζόδρομοι, τουριστικές περιοχές κ.λπ.). 5. Διαχείριση αυξημένων φορτίων κατά τη θερινή περίοδο.
