(as per Procurement Plan): SCG-IC/6 The Republic of Uzbekistan has received financing from the Global Partnership for Education (GPE) through the World Bank toward the cost of the Uzbekistan Education System Capacity Building Project.

The Ministry of Preschool and School Education of the Republic of Uzbekistan (“the Implementing Agency”) intends to apply part of the proceeds to hire an Individual Consultant to support the integration of Artificial Intelligence (AI) into education policies. The objective is to support MoPSE in developing an evidence-based and coordinated strategic approach for integrating AI into Uzbekistan’s education sector.

Interested consultants must send a CV that provides information on their qualifications and experience demonstrating their ability to undertake this assignment (reference to similar services, experience in similar assignments, availability, etc.). The qualification criteria are as follows: Master’s degree or higher in Education, Artificial Intelligence, Digital Technologies, Public Policy, or a related field.

At least 3 years of international experience in AI, digital transformation, or ICT in education. Experience conducting policy analysis, research, and international benchmarking. Proven ability to facilitate stakeholder consultations, workshops, and multi-partner coordination. Strong understanding of ethical, safe, and responsible AI principles. Excellent analytical, writing, and communication skills in English.

Fluency in Uzbek and Russian; working proficiency in English; Strong organizational, communication, and teamwork skills. The selected consultant will be offered a lump-sum contract for 12 weeks, expected to commence in January 2026.
