D2.1 The Work to be done under the Contract shall consist of: Concrete Pavement Rehabilitation Burrows Avenue – Powers Street to Main Street Caslon Place – Councillor Bay to Councillor Bay Councillor Bay – Manila Road to Manila Road Forest Cove – Garton Avenue to Jonathon Crescent Malden Close – Mannerly Way to Mannerly Way Marlow Court – Mapleglen Drive to Mapleglen Drive Morrison Street – Buttercup Avenue to Arrowwood Drive North Powers Street – Leila Avenue to Partridge Avenue Selkirk Avenue from Buller Street to Sheppard Street Concrete Pavement Reconstruction Salter Street/Weinberg Road Alley – Leila Avenue to Armstrong Avenue to Weinberg Road D2.2 The major components of the Work are as follows: Concrete Pavement Rehabilitation Removal of existing asphalt Renewal of existing sidewalk as required Installation of detectable warning surface tiles Removal of existing curb where required Replacing existing catch basins where required Installing catch pits and drainage connection/sewer service pipes Partial depth milling and asphalt patching of existing joints Full depth concrete repairs of existing slabs and joints Adjustment of existing pavement and boulevard structures Construction of new curb Mountable curb (Caslon Pl & Forest Cove Dr) Slip form barrier curb (All others) Boulevard restoration Installation of pavement repair fabric Construction of asphalt overlay Thickness approximately 40mm (Caslon Pl & Forest Cove Dr) Thickness approximately 80mm (All others) Concrete Pavement Reconstruction Removal of existing pavement Replace existing catch basin Installation of sub drains Excavation Compaction of existing subgrade Adjustment of existing pavement and boulevard structures Placement of geotextile fabric and geogrid Placement of sub-base material Placement of base course material Construction of 150mm concrete reinforced pavement using slip form paving equipment Construct curb where required Renewal of sidewalks where required Boulevard restoration and sod where required
