The Work to be done under the Contract shall consist of the installation of water mains on Harcourt Street, Powers Street and McPhillips Street within the City of Winnipeg.
D2.2 The major components of the Work are as follows: (a) Installation of approximately 860m of 150 to 400mm diameter PVC water main pipe by trenchless method; (b) Abandonment of existing water mains as required; (c) Abandonment of existing valve pits as required; (d) Removal/abandonment of existing hydrant assemblies and gate valves as required; (e) Installation of valves and hydrant assemblies; (f) Reconnection or renewal of water service connections; (g) Restoration of pavement and boulevard areas.
