Scope overview
Das bisherige Kernsystem soll sukzessive durch modulare und skalierbare Microservices auf Basis einer flexiblen, cloudbasierten Workflow Engine abgelöst werden. Innerhalb der nächsten Jahre werden einzelne Funktionsbausteine in dem bestehenden Legacy-System separiert, stillgelegt und durch Neuentwicklungen ersetzt.
Leitziel bei der Erstellung ist eine weitestge-hende Automatisierung der durchzuführenden Geschäftsprozesse. Erste Services wurden bereits implementiert. Durch die Implementierung weiterer Services wird der Bedarf an Lizenzen innerhalb der nächsten Jahre weiter ansteigen. Die aktuelle Lizensierung der Camunda Workflow Engine läuft am 05.02.2026 aus.
