Internet Access Service Bid for Pocahontas Area School District

Pocahontas Area Community School District is seeking a bundled Internet Access service (IA and associated transport). This service is to be delivered to 208 1st Ave SW Pocahontas Iowa 50574. This will provide internet access to Pocahontas Area Elementary and Pocahontas Area REG Learning CTR. District seeks bids for Internet at the following capacities: Minimum of 1 Gbps and maximum of 3 Gbps.

Please provide pricing for the following bandwidth increments: [e.g. 1GB, 1.5GB, 2GB]. We are also requesting at a minimum of [5] static public IP addresses. The district requests bid options for one-year, three-year, and five-year contracts. Interested vendors should also provide the following information in their bids: * Indicate the type of connectivity (e.g.

fiber, coaxial, microwave, or equivalent); * Indicate whether E-Rate C1 eligible bundled firewall is provided; * Identify any E-Rate ineligible charges (such as DDoS or content filtering); * * Indicate the amount of any applicable taxes and fees. * Bidders must be willing to provide E-Rate discounted billing (SPI Mode) and to include this statement in the proposal.

* Bids should allow for bandwidth increases throughout the life of the contract without the need for additional bidding. Robo-bids and bids sent as SPAM without regard to products and services listed on the Form 470 and/or the RFP will be disqualified and will not be evaluated.

By submitting a bid, the vendor certifies that * Proposed prices are consistent with the FCCs Lowest Corresponding Price (LCP) * Equipment and services are compliant with FCCs recent Order (FCC 19-121) prohibiting the sale, provision, maintenance, modification or other support of equipment or services provided or manufactured by Huawei, ZTE or any other covered company deemed a national security threat.

The district reserves the right to cancel this request for bids and to reject all related proposals. Orders are contingent on E-Rate funding. The deadline for vendor proposals is 9:00 am Central Standard Time, March 19th, 2026. We reserve the right to reject late-submitted proposals.
