Scope overview
The Diocese of Charleston Schools is seeking competitive bids for Category One Internet Access and/or Internet Transport to support instructional and operational needs across all eligible school sites and administrative offices. Proposals may include Internet Access with or without Transport, or Transport with Internet Access provided by another source, as permitted under E-Rate rules.
Vendors may propose one or more service options, provided all options meet the minimum requirements below. Bandwidth Requirements: Each schools required bandwidth for FY2026 is identified in the attached schedule.
The Diocese requests service offerings that can meet any site-specific bandwidth needs within the following range: Minimum acceptable bandwidth: 200 Mbps Maximum requested bandwidth: 10 Gbps Vendors should propose service tiers that meet or exceed the site-specific identified speeds in the attachment.
Where available, proposals should include the ability to scale any and all bandwidths upward during the funding year or contract period (e.g., via service changes or upgrade options), with associated costs clearly stated.
