Scope overview
San Antonio ISD (SAISD) seeks proposals for Dedicated Internet Access (DIA) service to its Quincy Street Data Center (514 W. Quincy St., San Antonio, TX 78212). The District requests pricing for 30 Gbps and 40 Gbps CIR service and intends to award one contract for the most cost-effective solution, with price of eligible services as the primary evaluation factor.
Service must be delivered as dedicated Layer 3 public internet transit and support BGP peering with District equipment. Base proposals must include a single circuit. Optional, separately priced resiliency or diversity options may be proposed. The initial term will be 36 months with two optional one-year renewals. Service must be operational by July 1, 2026, and billing may not begin prior to July 1, 2026.
Vendors must provide separate pricing for monthly recurring charges, non-recurring charges, and any special construction. Vendors must comply with all E-rate program requirements, including SPIN and FCC Form 473 (SPAC) requirements and the Lowest Corresponding Price rule.
