Scope overview
Tunnel Houtenhoek is gelegen in de provinciale weg tussen Helmond en Deurne. De tunnel is gelegen onder de Bakelseweg in Deurne. Vanaf 2020 zijn er diverse asfaltschades ontstaan in de tunnel. Vanaf 2022 zijn er onderzoeken gedaan naar de technische staat van de tunnel, met als doel de oorzaak van de asfaltschades te achterhalen.
Uit de onderzoeken is gebleken dat de tunnelvloer de oorzaak is van de terugkomende asfaltschades. Met name rondom de overgangen tussen de tunnelmoten is de dekking van het beton te gering. Ook is op enkele plaatsen de wapening bloot komen te liggen. Met deze opdracht wil OG de dekking constructief herstellen en asfaltschades in de toekomst voorkomen.
