Scope overview
Project 30528 Rural Clinical Telehealth Service Te Whatu Ora in collaboration with Te Aka Whai Ora. Recent consultation with Rural General Practices (RGPs), rural hospitals and rural health sector stakeholders, identified unsustainable afterhours rosters as a significant opportunity for improvement.
The aim of this project is to provide rural communities with reliable and sustainable afterhours access, improve the access to primary and community care and commission a national telehealth medical and specialist referral service. Te Whatu Ora in collaboration with Te Aka Whai Ora aims for nationwide delivery (national coverage) of this programme.
We are therefore seeking either one or more provider per region (Northern, Te Manawa Taki, Central, Te Waipounamu) or one or more providers to deliver nationally (across all four).
