Scope overview
Pursuant to Section 3-05 of the New York City Procurement Policy Board Rules, the Department of Health and Mental Hygiene (DOHMH) intends to enter into negotiations for a 6-year Sole Source agreement with Viken Detection Corporation for the purchase and repair of XRF Devices (Lead Paint Analyzers) needed to determine lead content in paint during the course of environmental investigations performed by DOHMH.
DOHMH has determined that Viken Detection Corporation is the sole manufacturer, service center, and US distributor of the Pb200i and e XRF Lead Paint Analyzer, distributed under Sealed Source and Device Registration, and is not offered domestically through distributors or dealers.
Any firm that believes it can legally provide these devices and repair services, is invited to submit an Expression of Interest directly to this RFI- EPIN 81626Y0762 no later than 12/19/2025 by 2:00 PM.
