Scope overview
Pursuant to Section 3-05 of the New York City Procurement Policy Board Rules, the Department of Health and Mental Hygiene (DOHMH) intends to enter into negotiations for a six-year agreement with Hologic Sales and Service LLC for the direct purchase of assay kits, reagents, and testing supplies for the existing Panther and Tigris DTS 400 systems, which are utlized in the NYC Public Health Laboratory (PHL) for clinical and environmental testing for the detection of HIV, Trichomonas, Zika, TB, Chlamydia, Gonorrhea and other emerging bacteria and viruses.
DOHMH has determined that Hologic Sales and Service LLC is the sole provider of these associated testing products. Hologic Sales and Service LLC is the manufacturer and distributor of these instrument systems, assay kits, and reagents. Any firm that believes it can legally provide these goods, is invited to submit an Expression of Interest directly to this RFI- EPIN 81626Y0792 no later than 2/27/2026.
