Scope overview
The New York City Department of Transportation (NYCDOT) intends to enter into negotiations with AECOM USA Inc under the Negotiated Acquisition provision (Section 3-04) of the Procurement Policy Board Rules for an agreement whereby AECOM USA Inc will provide planning, engineering, and architectural design and inspection services Citywide for the Agency.
During the terms of this Engineering Services Agreement, projects and work assignments will be identified, the associated individual scope of services prepared, and an agreement reached with the Consultant. Work will commence immediately upon registration of individual task orders.
The assignment scope of work assigned under this agreement may consist of the whole, in part, or in combination of the typical tasks listed in the original contract. The Agency Chief Contracting Officer has determined that, pursuant to Section 3-04(iii), there is a compelling need to extend the existing services.
A Negotiated Acquisition Extension permits NYCDOT to achieve the safety and maintenance benefits faster than would a competitive procurement method. DOT utilizes these contracts as a critical mechanism to facilitate Engineering work, which is among the highest priorities to the Agency and the City. It is critical to provide and maintain this continuity of services.
The term (duration) of this contract will be an additional twelve (12) months. The projected start/end dates are 07/14/25 and 07/14/26, respectively. The contract award is a time-only extension, with an awarded amount. Agency: Transportation Status: Intent to Award
