Transport Canada (TC) requires access to integrated data and analytics platforms to support the Trade and Transportation Information System (TTIS) and the Supply Chain Digitalization Initiative. The acquisition will enable TC to enhance national marine transportation analysis and monitoring capabilities through access to: a. Terrestrial Automatic Identification System (AIS) data via API; b.
Vessel particulars and ownership data via API; c. Port event records (arrivals, departures, timestamps) via API; d. A web-based commodity analytics platform linking AIS to terminal- and port-level flows; and e. A real-time vessel tracking platform.
