DE BELGISCHE SCHOOL Sinds de opkomst van de Antwerp Six in de jaren 1980 heeft de Belgische mode wereldwijd een reputatie opgebouwd voor uitzonderlijke creativiteit. Met de komende Antwerp Six-tentoonstelling in MoMu in maart 2026 ontstond het idee om de schijnwerpers te richten op de huidige generatie Belgische ontwerpers, door hun kracht te vieren en te versterken met een krachtig statement.
Het project ‘The Belgian School’ (werktitel) omvat een beeld, een collectief portret, met een selectie van Belgische creatieven die verbonden zijn aan de Belgische school en vandaag een significante impact hebben op de wereldwijde mode-industrie. Met deze foto willen we een historisch document creëren dat de internationale invloed en het creatieve leiderschap van de Belgische mode in 2026 vastlegt.
Idealiter circuleert deze foto in de internationale pers en creëert ze een rimpel-effect dat maanden, zelfs jaren, aanhoudt. Het portret wordt voorgesteld aan de internationale pers met een lanceringsevenement/cocktail
