Alexandra Library Refurbishment Project for Community Modernization

This refurbishment of the Alexandra Library aims to provide a modern space where the community can come together, connect, improve their social wellbeing, and utilise all of the traditional library services. This is a unique opportunity for a contractor to be brought into this renovation project early, during the detailed design phase.

This approach is taken to ensure that the construction phase runs without delays so that the Library's closure is kept to a minimum. Another aim of this early contractor engagement is to benefit from valued contractor input at the design stage rather than during construction which can lead to contract variations.
