Re-Roofing and Refurbishment Works for Residential Properties in Barmouth

Adra (the Client) is seeking the works of suitably qualified and experienced contractors who can provide Re-Roofing, Solar PV’s, EWI & associated external refurbishment works to 26 occupied properties in addition, to internal & external refurbishment work to 1 occupied and 3 unoccupied Maisonette’s at Marine Road, Barmouth, as contained within the suite of documents contained within this tender pack which comprises the documents set out at paragraph 10 (“ITT”).NOTE: To register your interest in this notice and obtain any additional information please visit the Sell2Wales Web Site at https://www.sell2wales.gov.wales/Search/Search_Switch.aspx?ID=161163.The buyer has indicated that it will accept electronic responses to this notice via the Postbox facility.

(WA Ref:161163)Under the terms of this contract the successful supplier(s) will be required to deliver Community Benefits in support of the authority’s economic and social objectives. Accordingly, contract performance conditions may relate in particular to social and environmental considerations.

The Community Benefits included in this contract are:13.1 Adra aims to contribute to the development of the local economy and maximise the social value achieved via all of its activities, including procurement. Bidders who become our suppliers, contractors and service providers are expected to work in partnership with us in achieving maximum social value as part of the delivery of that specific agreement.

A guide to this has been included within the tender pack.13.2 Social value will be a scored part of a bidders’ tender submission. It is expected that bidders familiarise themselves with Adra’s Social Value priorities and reflect this in their social value submission.

Please see Annex 4 of the ITT for further information relating to the evaluation criteria of social value submissions.13.3 Social value submissions will form part of the eventual agreement with the successful bidder, and Adra will closely monitor delivery of the social value outcomes as part of its management of the agreement.
