De overkoepelende functionele scope bestaat uit de kwalitatief hoogwaardige vervanging en aanvulling van hardware die op de scholen in gebruik is voor actueel beschikbare hardware.
De nieuwe hardware dient daarbij aan te sluiten op de hardware die al in gebruik is. Het betreft alle hardware die een gebruiker (leerling en medewerker) nodig heeft bij een (leerling)bureau, danwel in de klas.
