Scope overview

A timber pile revetment at ANZAC Park was constructed in 2010. As a result of Cyclone Gabrielle in Feb 2023, extensive scour and damage was occurred to the left bank of Waimata River, beside ANZAC Park and the timber pile was completely damaged. GDC is planning to reinstate the damaged revetment as a priority and the length of the revetment is approximately 180m.
