Scope overview
Die Angebotsziele für den STEP AS 2030/35 umfassen unter anderem den Viertelstundentakt Zürich Museumstrasse–Regensdorf für die S-Bahn (Zuglänge bis 300 m), 8 Güterzugstrassen im Furttal in Fahrrichtung Ost–West (Zuglänge bis 750 m) sowie 2 Trassen in West–Ost Richtung. Die bestehende Bahninfrastruktur in Zürich Seebach lässt die Abwicklung dieses Angebots nicht mehr zu.
Insbesondere sind die Länge der Kreuzungsgleise für den Güterverkehr und die Perronlänge nicht mehr ausreichend. Die weiteren für diesen Raum formulierten Angebotsziele von S-Bahn und Güterverkehr erfordern zusätzliche Trassen am Käferberg.
Mit der konsequenten Anwendung der minimal möglichen Zugfolgen am Käferberg und einem zusätzlichen Spurwechsel in Oerlikon Nord können die erforderlichen Kapazitäten bereitgestellt werden. Die Firma erbringt mit diesem Auftrag Leistungen zur Erneuerung der Fahrbahn, konkreter folgende Bauleistungen: Gleisrückbau und Gleisbau teilweise inkl. Unterbau unter Bahnbetrieb.
