Scope overview
The Council owns approximately 2300 buildings across Christchurch and Banks Peninsula. Those buildings include toilet blocks, storage sheds, community centres, libraries, sport and recreation centres and social housing units. The Council plans to undertake asbestos management surveys of its buildings over a number of years to determine how many may have asbestos containing material (ACM) in them.
The Council requires a specialist consultant who is well equipped to do Asbestos Management Surveys, prepare reports and Asbestos Management Plans (as necessary) on its buildings as identified in this RFP as part of an overall assessment programme.
