Scope overview
Austwell/Tivoli ISD is requesting bid proposals for the following services: Leased Lit Fiber Service (Preferred) - A symmetrical lit fiber Internet access service with pricing at the following bandwidth increments 500Mbps and 1Gbps. For the Internet access the district is seeking contract options of three, and five years.
The contracts should allow for upgrades to quoted bandwidth throughout the terms of the contract. All solutions should include installation and initial configuration (if needed), a method to report service outages, receive basic technical support without additional service fees, and a service level agreement. See RFP.
The district is also considering bids for Internet access and data transmission service provided over any combination of transmission medium, e.g., fiber-only networks, fiber/non-fiber hybrid networks, or non-fiber networks such as cable, DSL, copper, satellite, microwave or wireless. Due to the remote and rural location of the district, providers must be within two to three hours for on-site support if required.
The district will pursue the state match grant for the network build. 1. All installation charges must be identified on your bid. If you submit a bid indicating that installation charges may apply without listing those charges, we will disqualify your bid. 2.
Late Submitted Bids: bids are due by the close of business on the Allowable Contract Date; the due date may be extended by the applicant as a result of unforeseen circumstances. 3. Proposals that do not specifically address the services requested, are generic in nature or otherwise do not meet the requirements contained in this Form 470 and associated specifications are considered non-responsive. 4.
