Scope overview
NYC Health + Hospitals is seeking qualified vendors to provide Medical Translation Services, a document translation service that specializes in medical and health terminology for hospitals and healthcare systems.
Medical translation services shall be provided system-wide for, but not limited to, the languages required under applicable federal, state or local laws, policies, regulatory and administrative directives as well as languages requested and spoken by patients and the limited English proficient population residing within New York City.
Vendor(s) will be required to provide written translation services for documents such as patient consent forms, medical records, facility signage, and any other documents submitted by NYC Health + Hospitals with short turn-around times in a variety of languages.
Vendor(s) must have the capability to adapt and accommodate any changes in language needs that may arise throughout the term of their contractual relationship with NYC Health + Hospitals in order to keep pace with language trends and changing demographics.
