This contract applies to Aerial Imagery purchased under contract on behalf of the following councils: � Bay of Plenty Regional Council � Western Bay of Plenty District Council � Kawerau District Council � Opotiki District Council � Whakatane District Council BOPLASS Ltd wishes to acquire digital aerial imagery, Digital Elevation Model (DEM) and vector data over selected areas of the region covered by its constituent councils.
This data can be categorised as medium to high resolution (0.2m GSD) rural aerial photography and associated high resolution DEM�s. Details of the evaluation will be confidential to the Principal and their evaluation will be based on the information supplied. The Principal�s decision shall be final. The Principal reserves the right to request clarification of information, if so required.
The primary purpose of the digital aerial imagery is as a backdrop for GIS applications and as a guide for GIS spatial data capture. All orthophotography will be provided in New Zealand Transverse Mercator 2000 projection (NZTM2000). The datum is New Zealand Geodetic Datum 2000 (NZGD2000). The primary purpose of the Digital Elevation Model is for the generation of contours and 3D analysis.
Data will be referenced to New Zealand Vertical Datum 2016 (NZVD2016).
