Scope overview

The Southland Museum and Art Gallery (SMAG) was closed to the public in 2018 due to the earthquake risk of the building. Council have now completed the Re-imagining phase and have opted to replace the existing building with a new Museum. To enable this to occur, a new purpose built storage facility is currently being designed and will be completed in late 2023.

Council now require a Shelving specialist to provide long-span shelving, including mobile storage and art racks.
