Scope overview
Invercargill City Council (ICC) invites contractors to participate in the tender process Request for Proposal (RFP) and submit their proposal to construct four (4) new units and redevelopment of the existing parking area (54-60 Stirrat Street), which is part of the Housing Innovation Project. The current Invercargill City Council-owned housing stock was built in the 1950s, 1970s, 1980s and 1990.
ICC is looking to upgrade its housing stock by replacing its oldest units with modern housing units as part of the housing innovation project. The long-term goal is to create a programme to replace the housing stock while improving the level of service. After initial investigations the preferred site for the first four units of the project will be located at 54 to 60 Stirrat Street, Kingswell.
Please note this is a two-step procurement process as the final design will not be available until early January. Step 1: Non-price attributes and indicative delivery rate/price per m2 information only. Step 2: Shortlisted tenderers to supply pricing on 100% design.
