Forest Inventory Data Collection Services in Indiana and Cincinnati

FIA BPA Call 43 Indiana and Cincinnati OH FIA Data collection work in Indiana and Cincinnati OH. Field GUIDE VERSION is 9.5 for the base year. An updated Field Guide may be in place for the option year. Plot types included: Urban, PIQA/Urban, P2/Urban P2+/Urban, and P2+Soils/Urban plots. The data collection work is for two years(s) and includes work for YEAR-TO-YEAR field season/s.

The first year of this call is called the base year. Each additional year is called an option year.

The USDA Forest Service (FS), Procurement & Property Services (PPS), Forest Inventory and Analysis | US Forest Service Research and Development (usda.gov) is issuing this synopsis as a means of complying with the USDA’s policy in the Contracting Desk Book, SUBPART 413.3—SIMPLIFIED ACQUISITION METHODS, 413.303 Blanket Purchase Agreements (BPAs).

The USDA FS intends on awarding a competitive BPA Call Order against multiple award schedule BPAs for FIA Data collection work located at USDA’s Contract Portal, awarded against solicitation number: 12444825R0001 Inventory and Analysis Program collects, analyzes, and reports information on the status and trends of forests in the Northeast and Midwest. This is not a solicitation.

This synopsis notification of intent to award a BPA Call order does not constitute a request for proposals or submission of any information in response to this notification. This procurement is restricted to those approved companies eligible for call orders under the Northern Research Station, FIA Data collection Blanket Purchase Agreement (BPA)’s.

There are currently 21 businesses that will receive this solicitation. The Call Order shall be issued via email to those companies listed on the BPA. Any changes to the Call Order RFQ shall also be emailed to those companies listed on the BPA. Point of Contact is gayle.geiger@usda.gov.

This requirement will be competitively awarded as a BPA Call Order against the aforementioned multiple award schedule BPAs previously solicited on the Government Point of Entry (GPE) at: https://sam.gov/opp/e418e584b2c8410b992fed2688626abd/view . The government will not provide feedback or evaluations to companies regarding their submissions in response to this notice.
