Scope overview
The Department of Agriculture and Agri Food Canada (AAFC), , requires a Contractor to provide Electrical Services on an “as and when required” basis at Melfort Agriculture and Agri-Food Canada., Research Farm located 3 miles south of Melfort, Sk. This bid solicitation is to establish a contract with task authorizations (TA) for the delivery of the requirement detailed in the bid solicitation to the Identified Users.
The contract period will be for one year from the date of contract with an irrevocable option to extend it for up to three additional one-year periods. Security Requirements There are security requirements associated with this requirement. Optional Site Visit It is recommended that the Bidder or a representative of the Bidder visit the work site.
An optional site visit will be held at 3 miles south of Melfort on highway 6 on December 16, 2025, beginning at 10:00 a.m., in Field Laboratory conference room. Policy on Reciprocal Procurement This solicitation of offers is open only to Canadian suppliers (if subject to any international trade agreement(s) and to Suppliers of an applicable trading partner.
AAFC has adopted the Integrity Regime administered by Public Services and Procurement Canada. As a result, the integrity provisions are being applied in AAFC procurement activities as outlined in this solicitation.
