A MIAC meeting was held between Government of Canada and marine industry officials on October 26th & 27th, 2022 in Ottawa, ON with takeaways in the following areas of discussion:Day 1 of the meeting consisted of workshops on the following topics:1. “A Dialogue on Industrial Technical Benefits”, Innovation, Science and Economic Development (ISED);2. Marine HR Discussion;and included an industry In-Camera session.On day 2, the committee had discussions about MIAC Action Items, Trends in Marine, the PSPC Marine Industry Awards, Terms & Conditions in contracts and Greening. The meeting was successful due to the participation of Industry and partner departments.
