Scope overview

This solicitation is to obtain services in connection with the New York City School Construction Authority (NYCSCA) Job Order Contract (JOC) Program. The SCA s Job Order Contracting (JOC) Program enables the SCA to rapidly engage contractors to perform construction and construction related services.

The SCA anticipates awarding up to four (4) contracts to firms that are prequalified by the SCA at the time of contract award.

To assist you with your request, the following is a summary of the services that will be required: General Information/Brief Summary: The Construction Management firms selected under this RFP will provide services for various Capital Task Force Classroom Conversions, site and exterior probes, flood elimination projects in scope and design, IEH Asbestos probe and abatement related to FDNY approval, and assisting Public Art for Public Schools (PAPS) for protection, removal, and storage of artwork.

The CM will be responsible for coordinating all construction activities between the SCA, JOC General and Electrical Contractors, Architectural and Engineering consultants, and various school personnel from scope through project completion. Upon receipt of the requested information, your request will be forwarded to the User Department for review and consideration. Participation in the RFP process will be pending User Department approval. Please put the Solicitation Pin Number as the subject of your email. In your e-mail you MUST INCLUDE the following information: 1) A description of your firm s experience including: a. Firm s legal name; b.

EIN Number; c. the length of time your firm has been in existence and performing the services required under this RFP; d. prior projects; e. firms you ve partnered with; and f. the value of the portion your firm worked on. 2) Whether your firm is pre-qualified with the SCA. 3) The full contact information of the person to whom the RFP should be sent, including: a. Title; b. phone number; c. fax number; and d.

Street address. Please ensure that an actual street address must be provided as RFPs are not sent to PO Boxes.
