General - From 1 January 2027, the green waste delivered to the Gunzenbühl plant is to be processed into compost in accordance with the legal requirements, in particular on the basis of the waste law operating licence of 18 November 2024 (site composting). - The amount of green waste is essentially composed as follows (2025 figures): Door-to-door collections 3,300 t Horticultural businesses, depots, etc.
2,300 t Green waste processing - The green waste must be composted at the Gunzenbühl plant. - The compost is produced in the CMC process (controlled microbial composting) by creating small windrows (triangular windrows). Company - The company provides all personnel and machines needed to receive, process and deliver the green waste or compost.
- The company has a calibrated scale system (wheel loader scale with scale printer). Compost - The compost meets the Biosuisse foreign material certification (organic quality). Delivery days The green waste is delivered throughout the week (Monday to Friday).
