Inland Wastewater Trunk Renewal Project for Hastings District

CON2022054 � Inland Wastewater Trunk Renewal 2022-2028 Tenders are requested for the above contract which involves trenchless renewal of selected sections of the Inland Trunk wastewater network within the Hastings District Council area.

The first year (2022/23) will comprise the trenchless renewal of 1.32 km of Inland trunk wastewater pipes and surface coating of associated manholes as required, made up of 551 m of 900 mm diameter, 597 m of 1050 mm diameter and 167 m of 1575 mm diameter concrete Inland wastewater trunk.

Provisional allowance has been made for trenchless renewal of 294 m of Urban trunk DN450 wastewater network on Omahu Road, Hastings. The Contract includes provisional sum allowance for the tenderer to provide renewal solutions to nonstandard sections of pipe or unexpected pipe conditions that cannot be lined but must be repaired.

Subsequent years are to be based on a similar schedule with locations coming from HDC�s prioritised Long Term Plan. The budget for the subsequent four years total $10.0M of similar type renewals.
