• The Ministry of Environment “EEAA” has received financing from the World Bank toward the cost of the Greater Cairo Air Pollution Management and Climate Change Project, The Ministry of Environment , an implementing agency of the Client, intends to apply a portion of the proceeds of this loan to eligible payments under the contract for Ameriyah bus depot retrofitting works and Related Infrastructure Improvements.
• The Greater Cairo Air Pollution Management and Climate Change Project now invites sealed Bids from eligible Bidders for Ameriyah Depot Retrofitting Works and Related Infrastructure Improvements, Ameriyah Depot, Cairo, Egypt, including but not limited to: installation of chargers, retrofitting of maintenance building (Mechanical, Electrical and Plumbing activities), Medium Voltage distribution network, electrical distribution, demolition of existing structures, construction of technical rooms, construction of metallic sheds for e-Buses.
• Bidding will be conducted through national competitive bidding using Request for Bids (RFB) as specified in the World Bank’s “Procurement Regulations for IPF Borrowers- Procurement in Investment Projects Financing” (“accordance with the Bank’s “Procurement Regulations for IPF Borrowers” July 2016 revised November 2017 & August 2018 (“Procurement Regulations”), which can be found at www.worldbank.org. and is open to all eligible Bidders as defined in the Procurement Regulations.
