Project No.: IDA-71670 IFT No: LGED/RIVER/SIRAJ/21-22/NW-07 Issued on: 30 November 2025 The Government of Bangladesh has received financing from the World Bank toward the cost of the Resilient Infrastructure for Adaptation and Vulnerability Reduction Project (RIVER) and intends to apply part of the proceeds toward payments under the contract for Construction of Primary School cum Flood Shelter with Solar PV Nano Grid, Street Light, Lightning Protection & Connecting Roads, Bridge/Culvert, Furniture and Tree Plantation at Sirajgonj District.

The Local Government Engineering Department invites Tenders from eligible Tenderers for package LGED/RIVER/SIRAJ/21-22/NW-07. Construction of 22 nos. Primary School cum Flood Shelter with Solar PV Nano Grid, Street Light, Lightning Protection & Connecting Roads, Bridge/Culvert, Furniture and Tree Plantation at Sirajgonj District. Duration is 24 months and no margin of preference applies.

Tendering will be conducted through national competitive procurement using Bangladesh Public Procurement Act and Public Procurement Rules – Open Tender Procedures and is open to all eligible Tenderers as defined in the Tendering Document.

Interested eligible Tenderers may obtain further information from Project Director, RIVER Project and inspect the Tendering document during office hours 0900 to 1600 hours at the address given below. Replies to clarifications requested by Tenderers will not be emailed directly to Tenderers. All responses to clarifications will be posted in the e-Gp website.

The Tender document in English may be purchased by interested eligible Tenderers upon payment of a nonrefundable fee of BDT 4000.00 (Four thousand only). The method of payment will be through e-Gp system. The document will be found in e-GP system. Tenders must be submitted in e-Government Procurement (e-GP) Portal https://www.eprocure.gov.bd.
