589+000 of E/W Highway (NH 01) on Upstream and Downstream of the Existing Tinau Bridge each to two lane Carriageway, footpath on one side and Approach Road and Approximate Length of Bridge and Approach Roads are 240 m and 980 m minimum respectively. NRs. 20000.00 net or equivalent (excluding bank commission if any) US$ 0.40 Million 2.
The Department of Roads, Development Cooperation Implementation Division (DCID) now invites sealed proposals from the eligible proposers for the above contract. 3.
The procurement will be conducted through international competitive procurement using Request for Proposals (RFP) as specified in the World Bank’s “Procurement Regulations for IPF Borrowers”, July 2016, revised November 2020 (“Procurement Regulations”), and is open to all eligible Proposers . 4.
The evaluation will be carried out using rated criteria described in the RFP document, with 20% weight assigned to the technical proposal and 80% to the financial offer. 5.
Interested eligible Proposers may obtain further information from Department of Roads, Development Cooperation Implementation Division (DCID) Accelerating Transport and Trade Connectivity in Eastern South Asia (ACCESS)- Nepal Phase 1 Project, Chakupat, Lalitpur, email: dorfcb@dor.gov.np and inspect the RFP Document during office hours (10:00 to 17:00 hours) at the address given below.
Interested proposers, registered in the e-GP portal of Public Procurement Monitoring Office (PPMO) shall download the RFP document from http://www.bolpatra.gov.np after login and for submitting the RFP documents electronically, a nonrefundable fee of NPR 20000.00 or equivalent, shall be deposited as specified in RFP document.
In addition, electronic scanned copy (.pdf format) of the bank deposit voucher/cash receipt should also be submitted along with the electronic proposal submission files. The Proposal, both the Technical Part and the Financial Part, must be submitted electronically through the e-GP Portal on or before 12:00 hours (Nepal Standard Time), 21st January, 2026. Detailed procedures for electronic procurement are provided in the RFP Document. Late Proposals will be rejected.
The Technical Part of the Proposals will be publicly opened in the presence of the Proposers’ designated representatives and anyone who chooses to attend at the address below on 12:15 hours (Nepal Standard Time), 21st January, 2026 .
The Financial Part of the proposal shall remain unopened in the e-GP portal until the second public opening of the Financial Part, following the evaluation of the Technical Part of the Proposal. The Financial Part shall be downloaded and opened publicly only after the evaluation of the Technical Part of the Proposals, on the date and time notified to the proposers. 8.
In case of Joint venture, the proposal must be submitted by the lead member in the e-GP portal. Discrepancy of the lead member recorded in the e-GP generated Proposal Opening Record and Joint Venture Agreement shall result in the rejection of the proposal. 9. All Proposals must be accompanied by a Proposal Security as stated in paragraph 1 above. 10.
Attention is drawn to the Procurement Regulations requiring the Borrower to disclose information on the successful Proposer’s beneficial ownership, as part of the Contract Award Notice, using the Beneficial Ownership Disclosure Form as included in the RFP document.” 11.
