The Bedele Woreda Fiance Office now invites sealed bids from eligible bidders for the construction of the below Small Scale Irrigation Schemes. The name of project, location, and amount of bid security, are indicated in the table below.

Invited Bidders should fulfill the following requirements & other appropriate documentary evidences demonstrating the bidder’s compliance;Domestic bidders shall have a certificate of competency from Ministry of Urban Development and Construction, Ministry of Water and energy, Rigional Water and Energy Bureau or Regional Construction Authorities or from the mandated Body with Category WWC-5 and above , renewed for the bidding period,Commercial Registration Certificate (Commercial Registration Supply Status),Renewed Trade license for the bidding period,Tax clearance certificate which is valid for bid submission date that permits the bidder to participate in any public tender,TIN and VAT registration certificate and Copy of Tax Payer registration Certificate,Copy of Value Added Tax Registration Certificate, Original Technical and Financial Offer 3.
Bidding will be conducted through National Competitive Bidding (NCB) procedures as specified in the World’s Procurement Regulations. 4.
Interested eligible bidders may obtain further information from Bedele Woreda Agricultre,Pastoralist and Land Office and inspect the bidding documents, including a complete set of Engineering Drawings in scanned copy for which is necessary for bidding purposes, at the address given below at working day and hours. 5.
Date of Bid Procurement : 30 Calender days (Thirty Calelder days) ,starting from the date of the December 23,2025 GC published on the Ethiopian Herald Newspaper and note that, Bid document shall be purchased only on the working days and hours only. 6.
A complete set of bidding documents prepared in the English language may be purchased by interested bidders on the submission of a written application to the address below and upon payment of a non-refundable fee of ETB 2,000.00 (Two Thousand Birr) in cash only at Bedele Woreda Revenue Authority Office. 7. The bidding procedure to be followed is the Single Stage –Two envelope Process.
The technical Part Opened first and Secondly financial Part will be opened for Contactors who technically qualified and financial bid prices and other necessary information will be read out at the opening. 8. The bidding procedure to be followed is a Single-Stage, two-envelope process. 9.
Bidders are required to submit Original and two photocopies each of the Technical proposal and the Financial proposal.The Technical proposal shall include the sealed Original, First Photocopy, Second Photocopy, and the Bid Security in the form CPO or Unconditional Bank Guarantee as per Lot 1 and Lot 2 required in the table above, each placed in a separate envelope .
These envelopes shall then be enclosed together in one larger envelope clearly marked “Technical proposal.”The Financial proposal shall include the sealed Original, First Photocopy, and Second Photocopy, each placed in a separate envelope.
These shall then be enclosed in one larger envelope clearly marked “Financial proposal.”Finally, the entire set of documents-both the ‘Technical and the Financial proposal -shall be enclosed in a single sealed outer envelope, which shall clearly bear all necessary information regarding the Bidder, the Employer, and the relevant Project details Bids must be delivered to Bedele Woreda Finance Office procurement Team Room.
10. Bids Submission Deadline : January 22,2026GC Time @10:00A.M. to Bedele Woreda Finance procurement Team Room. Late bids will be rejected. Bids Opening date : January 22,2026GC Time @10:30 AM. 11. Bids will be publicly opened in the presence of the bidders’ designated representatives and anyone who choose to attend to the Bedele Woreda Finance Office. 12.
The Bedele Woreda Office of Agriculture,Pastoralist and Land reserves the right to accept or reject any or entire the bids.
