(CONSULTING SERVICES – INDIVIDUAL CONSULTANT) Consultancy Services to Conduct a Gender Equality, Disability & Social Inclusion Gap Assessments in Lhaviyani Atoll The Government of Republic of Maldives represented by Ministry of Tourism and Environment (MoTE) has received financing from the Global Environment Facility (GEF) and the World Bank as the GEF implementing agency toward the cost of the Blue Capital for Prosperity and Climate Resilience (BCPCR) project, and intends to apply part of the proceeds for consulting services.
The consulting services (“the Services”) include Consultancy Services to Conduct a Gender Equality, Disability & Social Inclusion Gap Assessments in Lhaviyani Atoll for a duration of 1 calender month expected to start on the December of 2025 The detailed Terms of Reference (TOR) for the assignment can be found at the Ministry of Tourism and Environment’s website https://www.environment.gov.mv and is also attached with this advertisement.
The Ministry of Tourism and Environment (MoTE) now invites eligible individual consultants (“Consultants”) to indicate their interest in providing the Services. Interested Consultants should provide information demonstrating that they have the required qualifications and relevant experience to perform the Services. The qualifications and experience criteria are described in the TOR.
The attention of interested Consultants is drawn to Section III, paragraphs, 3.14, 3.16, and 3.17 of the World Bank’s “Procurement Regulations for IPF Borrowers” Sept 2023 (“Procurement Regulations”), setting forth the World Bank’s policy on conflict of interest. A Consultant will be selected in accordance with the Individual Consultant Selection (IC) method set out in the World Bank Procurement Regulations.
