The Government of the People's Republic of Bangladesh has received financing from the World Bank towards the cost of the Bangladesh Road Safety Project (BRSP) under Roads and Highways Department and intends to apply part of the proceeds for the following Consulting Service: Consulting Service for Implementation of a Trauma Registry and Trauma Systems Improvement Program (TSIP) in High Road Traffic Injury (RTI)–Burden Districts of Bangladesh under Bangladesh Road Safety Project [SP(DGH)-02] 2.
The aim of the assignment is to design, implement and operationalize a standardized, interoperable national-ready trauma registry and a trauma systems improvement program across selected high-burden districts , generating high-quality data to drive system-wide improvements in pre-hospital and hospital trauma care, laying the foundation for a nationwide comprehensive hospital-based TSIP.

The Roads and Highways Department now invites eligible consulting firms (“Consultants”) to indicate their interest in providing the Service.

Interested Consultants should provide information demonstrating that they have the required qualifications and relevant experience to perform the Services. 4.
A Consultancy Firm will be selected in accordance with the Quality and Cost Based Selection (QCBS) method set out in the World Bank’s “Procurement Regulations for IPF Borrowers, November 2020” and based on the following criteria: Core Business and Years in Business. Relevant Experience: Applicants should demonstrate experience in similar assignments in last ten years. Technical and Organizational Capabilities. 5.
The attention of interested Consultants is drawn to Paragraph 3.14, 3.16, and 3.17 of the World Bank’s “Procurement Regulations for IPF Borrowers, November 2020”. 6. An Applicant may associate with other consultant(s) to enhance their qualifications, however this is not mandatory. 7.
