Scope overview
New York City Health and Hospitals Corporation (NYC Health + Hospitals) invites qualified vendors to submit proposals for the implementation and support of an Enterprise Interface Engine to enhance data exchange across NYC Health + Hospitals health system and with its external partners.
NYC Health + Hospitals currently operates an enterprise interface engine managing approximately 1,100 interfaces spanning various application categories. To improve patient care and interconnectivity, NYC Health + Hospitals seeks to explore new solutions to replace the existing platform for all new interfaces and migrate existing ones.
As part of this initiative, NYC Health + Hospitals will also implement a Universal Enterprise Master Person Index (U-EMPI) to enable accurate and efficient matching of medical record numbers across facilities, systems, and external partners.
The U-EMPI will provide a unified view of patients, providers, and associated clinical information, integrating clinical history, behavioral health status, and complex patient scenarios.
