Scope overview
We are seeking firewalls, one for each of our four locations. Firewalls need to be able to support up to 70 users, and utilize internet service up to speeds of 900 Mbps. We may also be interested in training and assistance with initial configuration, depending on the specific device selected. We'd prefer devices running open source software, though this is not a disqualification factor.
Devices with switched LAN ports are preferred, such as the Netgate 2100, or equivalent. Disqualification factors include (1) software as a service, (2) cloud based solutions, (3) devices requiring a subscription for use or for software & security updates, (4) absence of a graphical user interface for management and config.
