Scope overview
We gebruiken studiedata om de kwaliteit van ons onderwijs te meten en te verbeteren. Daarnaast ondersteunen we het primaire proces met de optimale dienstverlening en besluitvorming door datagebruik. We streven hierbij om een organisatiecultuur te creëren waarin datagedreven denken en handelen centraal staan.
Om studenten optimaal te begeleiden en secundaire processen goed te laten verlopen verzamelen en gebruiken we binnen ROC van Twente veel data. Die data is verspreid binnen de organisatie en omvat gestructureerde gegevens binnen applicaties, maar ook losse csv-, excel- of pdf-bestanden. Hoewel we een deel van deze gegevens goed benutten, maken we nog niet optimaal gebruik van de mogelijkheden.
Daarnaast zijn er ook externe partijen zoals DUO, ROA, CBS en SBB die waardevolle data aanbieden, maar die we nog beter zouden kunnen benutten.
