To do this effectively, GO-Science requires evidence-based, expert-backed insight into the potential future developments of potentially disruptive technologies - looking further ahead into the future to inform our internal work programmes.
This need includes not only technologies with a high likelihood of having some impact on the future, but also 'low-likelihood, high-impact' technologies that have a small chance of fundamentally altering our society.
