Als eigenaar, verhuurder en gebruiker van circa 170 gebouwen (het zogenaamde maatschappelijk vastgoed) richt de gemeente Tilburg zich op gezonde, veilige, energiezuinige en duurzame gebouwen. De eigenaarsrol voor het maatschappelijk vastgoed is belegd bij het Vastgoedbedrijf van gemeente Tilburg. Binnen het Vastgoedbedrijf ligt de opgave voor om in de periode 2026-2030 32 gebouwen binnen het maatschappelijk vastgoed integraal te verduurzamen en de gebouwen tegelijkertijd toekomstbestendig te maken als het gaat om functionaliteit en gebruikskwaliteit.
Scope van de opdracht betreft ontwerp- en advieswerkzaamheden voor deze gebouwen.
