The bridge located at Llanfihangel GM has been damaged following a road traffic collision.
The aim of the project it to repair the damage caused by the collision and carry out routine maintenance that was highlighted in the latest general inspection.The works involve but are not limited to:-• Removing existing carriageway• Removing damaged sections of parapet and spandrel walls• Rebuild damaged spandrel wall and parapet• Repoint remaining Spandrel walls and parapet (area not over watercourse)• Construction of new carriageway including waterproofing layer and tie in at both ends• Repoint arch and other areas over watercourse• Pedestrian access is required throughout the construction works over the bridge• Installation of traffic lights and electrical connectionsNOTE: To register your interest in this notice and obtain any additional information please visit the Sell2Wales Web Site at https://www.sell2wales.gov.wales/Search/Search_Switch.aspx?ID=161209.The buyer has indicated that it will accept electronic responses to this notice via the Postbox facility.
