Scope overview
Die Häfen und Güterverkehr Köln AG (HGK) müssen die bestehenden Häfen der neuen Schiffsgeneration anpassen. Die modernen Schiffe haben eine Kapazität von bis zu 10.000 t und somit fast die 10-fache der Schiffe aus den 1960er Jahren. Die neuen Anforderungen erfordern es nicht nur, die Lade- und Lagerkapazitäten zu erhöhen, sondern auch, die Kaianlagen zu verstärken.
Die im Folgenden ausgeschriebene Maßnahme sieht dazu die Erneuerung der Kaimauer im Hafen Niehl „Am Molenkopf“, Süd- Ost- und Nordseite Becken 4a vor, damit diese in mindestens den nächsten 50 Jahren die gesetzlichen Anforderungen an die Standsicherheit erfüllt.
