Scope overview
Das Alten- und Pflegeheim der Hospitalstiftung in Kaufbeuren besteht derzeit aus einem Gebäudeensemble, das sich in mehreren Bauabschnitten entwickelt hat. Die Bestandsbebauung wird im Zuge der Baumaßnahmen brandschutztechnisch saniert um den heutigen Vorschriften zu entsprechen, zusätzlich wird ein Anbau mit barrierefreien Wohnungen nach DIN 18040 erstellt und ein Altbauteil im Gegenzug abgebrochen.
Im Rahmen der Baumaßnahme wird abschließend ein zentraler, öffentlich zugänglicher Park für die Bewohner des Altenheims entstehen, der qualitativ hochwertig und barrierefrei auf die Bedürfnisse der Nutzer zugeschnitten geplant ist. Momentan leben ca. 190 Personen im Alten- und Pflegeheim.
Das Altenheim betreibt eine eigene Großküche und eine Wäscherei, die ganzwöchig zur Versorgung der Bewohner beitragen und auch in der Bauphase durchgängig in Betrieb bleiben werden. Für den Neubau sind Wohngruppen für 54 Bewohner geplant, bestehend aus barrierefreien Einzelzimmern und Gemeinschaftsräumen mit Kochnischen.
