La sécurisation de l'alimentation en eau de la Plaine Orientale est en partie conditionnée par la capacité du réseau à autoriser des transferts de volume d'un secteur hydraulique à un autre. L'OEHC projette la création d'une nouvelle interconnexion entre le complexe Bacciana - Teppe Rosse et le secteur de Linguizzetta/Bravona par la pose d'une conduite en fonte de diamètre 800 mm sur une longueur d'environ 10 km.
