Hanke esemeks on aastatel 2026–2027 üleriigilise teavituskampaania korraldamine. Töö algab kommunikatsioonistrateegia väljatöötamisest ning jätkub paralleelselt sihtrühmapõhiste teavitustegevustega. Finantspettuste ennetamise kommunikatsioonistrateegia ja teavituskampaania loomisel ning tegevuste kavandamisel kasutatakse teaduspõhist ja käitumisteaduslikku lähenemist ning kaastakse käitumisteadlasi.
Eesmärk on vähendada elanike pettuste ohvriks langemist, suurendades teadlikkust finantspettustest ja andes praktilisi juhiseid oma raha kaitsmiseks. Tegevused keskenduvad haavatavatele sihtrühmadele ning õpetavad pettusi ära tundma ja kriitiliselt hindama saadud sõnumeid, kõnesid ja üleskutseid.
