Scope overview
The DHBs require a reliable and continuous fire monitoring service for all CDHB and WCDHB sites. This will be managed by the Maintenance and Engineering team. CDHB and WCDHB are currently undertaking a major rebuild project (Outpatients, Hagley Acute Services Building and Greybase Hospital) which is due for staged completion throughout 2018/19.
The Successful Respondent for this RFQ is expected to be operational by April 2019, and the Successful Respondent will be required to be flexible to changing requirements whilst the new developments come into service. The DHBs require a monitoring service to be 24 hours a day, 7 days a week with system testing done monthly on all monitoring equipment.
The DHBs require a service that will ensure the continuous protection of people and property from unexpected fire events at all our sites, and to minimise the cost of a false alarm.
